The Macari Centre in Hanley is fully staffed at all times – 24 hours per day, seven days of the week – by appropriately qualified and experienced personnel who, in addition to providing pastoral duties, are also able to support tenants with support and advice.
All personnel are checked according to the UK Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) and many have extensive experience with the social care sector including working with vulnerable adults.
As one might expect given the nature of the Macari Centre, every new member of staff undergoes a comprehensive induction process to ensure they are fully competent to undertake the role and activities for which they are employed.
The Macari Centre work with the Steven Talbot Consultancy for the provision of specialist recruitment, staff training and support services.
The personal development of our staff is something which the Macari Foundation takes seriously and we are committed to investing in our people so that they, in turn, can continue to provide the support services we offer.
We always welcome enquiries from anyone interested in working at the Macari Centre and are happy to receive CVs from persons with a background in the care or social services sectors.
